Green Light for Roads Drilling Plan
BANGKOK, Thailand-Thai Prime Minister said Bangkok residents understand that roads need to be drilled (in order to let the water flow) and are willing to cooperate.
In regards of the government’s plan to make waterways by drilling roads along canal 9 and 10 communities, Prime Minister YingLuck Shinnawat stated she had explained the matter to the residents there, added that they were understanding and will cooperate.
Miss YingLuck said that water management in Chulalongkon Waterways would be very difficult without the drilling operation. She also expressed her concerns over rising water level in RaPeepat (ระพีพัฒน์) canal, saying that the canal would need more water pumps when the sea level rises.
