Gen Prem Joins Govt Bash
 Chief privy counsel Gen Prem Tinsulanonda joined a thank-you party hosted by the government at Government House on Friday.
Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra and members of her cabinet received Gen Prem among several other VIPs including high-level government officials, past and present, military leaders and ambassadors. Both were clad in Thai silk costumes.
Entitled ''Love Thailand, Put Thailand Forward'', the rare dinner party, held at Santi Maitree building, was thrown to thank members of the Center for Flood Relief who had worked hard during last year's severe floodings in the lower-northern and central regions of the country.
Yingluck earlier commented the event could as well bring people together in the course of national reconciliation following critical social rifts over the last several years.
There were classical dances, orchestra and music shows during the government bash.
